Automated sun protection offers unique selling points
After the cold winter months, people look forward to feeling the warmth of the sun. However, during the summer months rooms can become overbearingly hot. In June 2010, the German consumer advocacy magazine Stiftung Warentest discovered that when the sun shines on an approximately two-square-metre window fitted with common heat absorbing glass, it “has a similar effect as when operating a 1000 W fan heater in an already extremely hot room”.
Automated awnings for increased comfort and safety
There are numerous opportunities to introduce customers to the benefits of automated sun protection. If the roller shutters of a house are to be fitted with electric drives, it is well worth mentioning the advantages of including the awning. And it is also a good opportunity to replace an existing hand crank with an electric drive when the cloth requires cleaning.
